Hyper Nozzle is it compatible with all filament compounds?
Yes, you can print all type of filaments compound.
Hyper Nozzle how does it behave with compounds loaded with reinforcing fibers such as glass-carbon-kevlar?
You can print all compounds reinforcing with hard fibers without any problem.
Can I print TPU with Hyper Nozzle?
Absolutely Yes, with great results.
What is the abrasion resistance of Hyper Nozzle?
22 GPa.
How long is the durability of Hyper Nozzle?
With a simple correct use the life-time of Hyper Nozzle can will be forever also if you print the reinforced filaments.
What are the differences with other nozzles made of hard materials?
Hyper Nozzle, in addition to having the tip in SiC, the second hardest material after diamond, it has the best fluid dynamic shape (Y-shape) and consequently the highest possible flow and speed, thanks also to the low thermal inertia and high thermal conductivity (equal to brass - more is useless).
Hyper Nozzle can get clogged?
SiC-Y-tip is very difficult to be clogged, with the correct use impossible.
If the hot-end is clogged, can I try to unclog it with a pin from the outside of Hyper Nozzle?
No, you can only damage the SiC-Y-Tip from the outside, always from inside.
What's the difference between Hyper Nozzle in natural brass and Hyper Nozzle nickel-plated brass ones?
The chemical nickel plating NIPLATE 600 with post-heat treatment at 340°C for 4 hours in a nitrogen atmosphere gives a surface hardness of 1000 HV to the brass parts which, in addition to protecting the inflow channel and from corrosion in general, offers the possibility of printing bio-compatible materials.
Hyper Nozzle is available for 2.85mm diameter filaments?
For the moment the SiC-Y-Tip is only available for 1.75 mm diameter filaments. We’ll see in the future.
Can the Hyper Nozzle outlet hole have similar tolerances to those made with metals or lasers?
No, the production process provides for a maximum tolerance of 0.05 mm on the hole (-0.02/+0.03 mm).
Can hole tolerance -0.02/+0.03 mm lead to poor printing results?
Absolutely no, dimensional tolerances of +/-0.05mm can be achieved on printed parts.
Are the Hyper Nozzles checked one by one?
Yes. One by one to assure the highest quality to the customer.
Can I become a distributor of Hyper Nozzle?
Yes, you can be a distributor of Hyper Nozzle out of Italy.
What is the operating temperature of Hyper Nozzle in natural brass or chemical Nickel plated brass?
The max operating temperature of Hyper Nozzle in brass is 320 °C.
Can the SiC-Y-Tip of Hyper Nozzle be applied to Cu-Cr-Zr nozzles for printing high temperature materials?
Yes, with the same CNC assembly tech.
Can SiC-Y-Tip be applied to different nozzle geometries?
Yes, see as described on site about the minimum space requested.
What is the maximum continuous use temperature of the SiC-Y-Tip?
The maximum continuous temperature of SiC-Y-Tip can will be 1500°C.
Can the Y-shaped SiC tips be supplied without the brass housing?
Yes, can be provided together with quality control with a MOQ.
What service are the nozzles shipped with?
With Italian Postal service on Monday, Wednesday and Friday of every month after receiving payment.
With Hyper Nozzle can I print with non-dry filament?
We strongly recommend using quality, well-dried filaments.
What is the thermal shock that SiC-Y-Tip can withstand?
From 800°C directly into water at 20°C.
Where are Hyper Nozzles produced?
All the part of Hyper Nozzle are produced in Italy.
Can Hyper Nozzle be supplied with 0.1mm or 1mm outlet hole?
No, with our production technology we can only supply holes with nominal diameters of 0.4, 0.6, 0.8.
At what temperature can I install Hyper Nozzle?
Hyper Nozzle must be installed at a temperature of approximately 190-220°C with a maximum tightening torque of 1.2 Nm.
Can Hyper Nozzle be considered a BAT in 3D FDM printing?
Yes, we have been convinced of this for at least 25,000 hours!
